Inner calm, health and wellbeing
IS WITHIN REACH
Want to learn Qigong?
Join me online from the comfort of your own home — no commute and no parking. Come exactly as you are, and leave feeling calmer, more energised and more grounded.
The style I teach is Zhineng Qigong — a modern, open form of Qigong designed to simple to learn and powerful in its effects on our bodies. Rather than simply copying movements and wondering whether you’re “doing it right”, I guide you through both what to do and how to practice effectively — including how to work with your attention, relax the body and mind, and gradually deepen your experience of Qi.
What I love about this approach is that you don’t need years of experience, extraordinary flexibility or a perfectly quiet mind. The movements are gentle, but the practice goes much deeper than movement alone. You learn to bring together body, mind and attention in a way that can help you become calmer, more present and more connected with yourself.
With regular practice, Qigong can support greater mental calm, physical wellbeing, energy and vitality, as well as a greater sense of balance and enjoyment in everyday life. It isn’t about escaping your life or adding another task to your list — it’s about learning a different way of being within the life you already have.
And you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself!
Come and learn with me, practice with a welcoming community, and discover what Qigong can become in your life.

Introducing...
Zhineng Qigong
Zhineng Qigong is one of hundreds of different Qigong traditions originating in China. It was developed in the early 1980s by Professor Pang Ming, a physician trained in both Western and traditional Chinese medicine who had also studied extensively with teachers from different Qigong traditions. Prof Pang has brought together principles and practices from these traditions into a systematic method intended to make Qigong easier to understand and to practice for ordinary people.
One of the most fascinating parts of Zhineng Qigong’s history is the Huaxia Centre in China — often nicknamed the “Medicineless Hospital.” During its years of operation, hundreds of thousands of people with serious and chronic health conditions came to practise Qigong intensively, learn about Qi, and take a much more active role in their own healing. The results reported by the centre were remarkable.
These reports are one reason Zhineng Qigong has become well known for its emphasis on activating the body’s innate capacity for regulation and healing. Pretty extraordinary for something that, from the outside, can look like a group of people not doing too much!
What is Qi?
Qi is often described as the body’s vital energy. In Qigong, we work with Qi through movement, breath, awareness and intention
What is Qigong?
Qigong is an ancient Chinese mind-body practice that combines gentle movement, posture, breathing and focused attention to support physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
Why should I practice?
Regular practice can help you feel calmer, more energised and more grounded, while giving your body and mind a practical way to shift out of constant stress and into a more restorative state.
What can I expect?
You can expect gentle movements, guided attention and a growing sense of relaxation, body awareness and inner calm. Over time, many people notice improvements in energy, stress levels, sleep and overall wellbeing
How is this different from other styles?
Zhineng Qigong is a modern, open form of Qigong that places emphasis on the integration of body, mind and Qi. It's movements are simple to learn, and the deeper practice focuses strongly on awareness, intention and our relationship with the wider environment
How does this create health?
Through regular Qigong practice, you can create the conditions in which the body’s own restorative processes can function more effectively. This supports health by reducing stress, improving relaxation, and helping regulate the nervous system. It is best understood as a supportive wellbeing practice rather than a replacement for medical care.
I'M YVETTE.
Three years ago, I was given just weeks to live. Through my practice of Qigong, I’ve regained my health, energy and vitality — but perhaps the greatest gift has been a deep and abiding joy in simply being alive.
Now, one of my favourite things is sharing this practice with others. As a busy mum of three, I know how full life can get. Daily Qigong helps me have the energy to show up for my kids, my friends, my students and clients — and, very importantly, my dog Lily. 😄
Come along to a class and experience for yourself what this simple but powerful practice can bring to your life.
"I use the strategies I learned in this masterclass daily. They help me show up for myself and my family in incredible ways."

Qigong for Busy Professionals: 30 Minutes
Qigong designed for people who don’t have an hour to spare — and probably need it most. Qi Flow Support Group: 60 Minutes
A supportive community for people navigating serious or ongoing health challenges. We come together not to dwell on illness, but to reconnect with hope, share what we’re learning, focus our attention on what we can influence, and remind one another of the strength and resources we already have within us.
Vitality Booster: 60 Minutes
Sometimes the most useful thing you can do is stop trying so hard. Lie down or sit comfortably while I guide you into a deeply relaxed, coherent state using breath, attention and positive emotion, followed by the group Qi practice I was taught during my Zhineng Qigong teacher training. Think of this as an opportunity to receive, restore and reset — then return to your life with a little more in the tank.
The Vitality Forum: 90 Minutes
A monthly conversation exploring health, vitality and what it means to live a genuinely joyful life. I’ll share ideas and practices that have shaped my own health journey alongside Qi Science, emerging research and useful frameworks such as Dr Kelly Turner’s healing factors and HeartMath’s work on heart-brain coherence — with plenty of space for questions, discussion and learning from one another
